Acer kicked off the Mobile World Conference here in Barcelona by unveiling a new Windows Phone, but as is familiar with Microsoft's platform, the device will now blow you away. The Acer Liquid M220 is yet another handset that will fall into the seemingly endless stream of mid-range and entry level Windows Phone. Any hopes that platform would get a flagship beyond the HTC One M8 should be shelved for some time (probably until Windows 10 lands).Anyway, the Liquid M220 may not be a high end blockbuster of a device, but it is a solid little smartphone considering its very affordable ?79 ($88) price tag. It comes with a 4-inch WVGA screen, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of expandable storage, a 5 megapixel rear lens, and a 2 megapixel front facer. As I said, hardly specs to blow you away, but still competent considering the price point. So if you were on the lookout for an entry level Windows Phone and could not bring yourself to buy one of the number of already available devices, the Acer Liquid M220 may be for you.
