US carrier AT&T has started sending out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the 2014 second generation Motorola Moto X. The update is being sent by the company now and should be arriving on your device in the form of a notification. As always, the update is in stage, so you may gave to wait a couple of days depending on where you are located. The file size is weighty at 652.5MB and comes with the Lollipop goodies such as Material Design, Project Volta increased battery, swipe-down Quick Settings, improved notifications, Recent Apps, and a whole lot more. As Motorola keeps its software pretty much like stock Android, you will be getting the Lollipop experience on your 2014 Moto X that Google intended. At this size, I would recommend pulling the update with a Wi-Fi connection, and make sure you have at least 50% of battery available.
