T-Mobile has been going from strength to strength for a couple of years now and the company's ascension continued through the last quarter and through 2014 as a whole. The Magenta Network added 2.1 million net subscribers in the United States throughout the fourth quarter period, while over the year 8.3 million new subscribers were added. On top of that, the company famed for the Uncarrier movement revealed 1.3 million new postpaid customers (from 1 million handsets) during the three month stint and 4.3 million over 2014. That was a sizeable chunk and accounted for 80% of all postpaid subscribers in the US over all carriers through Q4 and nearly 100% through the year. T-Mobile revealed it is now reaching some 265 million Americans with its 4G LTE coverage, and is on target for the company?s expected goal of 300 million by the end of 2015.
2014 was the best year of growth in company history. Our Un-carrier moves helped us blow away the competition. The best is yet to come as the future looks bright in 2015."-John Legere, CEO, T-Mobile
