A lot of flagship smartphones are already updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop, while others are receiving their upgrade in the coming weeks. Sony has been pretty quiet regarding when the Xperia Z3 will receive the latest and greatest of Google's software. The company confirmed when Android launched that the Z3 would get it, but since then nothing has happened. That looks as though it will change pretty soon though. It is now looking as though the Japanese company's flagship will be getting the bump very soon as the Android build heading to the Z3 has been certified and cleared by the Wi-Fi Alliance. While no specific dates are known, when an update reaches this stage it is imminent, so the Lollipop software should be landing on the Sony Xperia Z3 through the end of February and early March.
