Sprint has confirmed that it is currently sending out Android 5.0 Lollipop to its customers running the LG G3 flagship smartphone. The update is available OTA and comes with a slew of new features, such as the bunch of new additions in the Android Lollipop experience. Those include Android TV support, Lollipop Material Design, Project Volta improved battery life, and enhancements to notifications and a new "Recent Apps" menu. The new additions do not stop there, as the update also brings the ability to activate GPS quickly, a better Google Hangouts experience, and updates for most of Google's Mobile Services apps. There is no word if LG has pasted any of its own enhancements for on board apps yet, but I would imagine the Korean company has. Typically, Sprint is rolling the update out in stages, so you may not have seen it yet. Don't worry though, it is imminent if you are rocking the G3 on the Now Network.
