Huawei has long been rumored to be launching its new P8 flagship at a special press event that will be held in London on April 15th. The company's follow up to the Ascend P7 is almost certainly to arrive and the Chinese giant has even started sending out invites for the launch event. However, Huawei will have a surprise in store when the P8 does arrive as there will also be a "lite" version of the handset. The normal Huawei P8 is expected to have a 5.2-inch 1080p screen, 424ppi, a Huawei Kirin 930 64-bit octa-core chip, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of on board memory, a 13 megapixel snapper, a 5 megapixel front facer, a 2600mAh juicer, and even a fingerprint sensor. Android 5.0 Lollipop is tipped to be the software of choice for the smartphone. Tech journalist Antonio Monaco offered a tweet on Tuesday that said the P8 Lite would launch alongside the normal version. The Lite version will of course tone down the specs and should get a 5.2-inch 720p screen, a Kirin processor with 2GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel rear cam, while it will probably miss out on some extras like OIS and the fingerprint sensor.
