It is nice to see that Samsung is supporting some of its aging smartphones with new software updates. The company is rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop for the Galaxy S4, a device that is nearly two years old. It's good news for owners of those handsets, and there is also good news for owners of the even older Galaxy Note II as Samsung has reiterated its plans to give that handset the Lollipop bump too.The company had already listed the Galaxy Note II as a Lollipop recipient in Finland during December, and now the company?s Polish division has also confirmed the update via Twitter. The 2012 device is set to get the update in the coming months. Samsung owns a research division in Poland and plenty of software gets rolled out there first, so a confirmation from Samsung Poland is pretty concrete at this point.
