Samsung's smartphones are already starting to get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update, with the company rolling out its TouchWiz based software to the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4 over the last week (in Russia at least). The next in line are thought to be the Galaxy Note 4 and its sibling, the Galaxy Note Edge. All signs are pointing to that as a beta Lollipop build is now leaking on the internet, a build that is for the Galaxy Note Edge. The leak landed on XDA Forums and comes with a build of TouchWiz that was unveiled on January 29, with the build number XXU1BOA2. This is not an Android 5.0 update, but is instead the newer Android 5.0.1 Lollipop version. Samsung has yet to unveil the software officially, but this is still an official build, albeit a leaked one. That means you can use Odin to download the update now, and as it is official it will pass Samsung?s Knox security and will not void the warranty of your device. Still, I would say this is for the more adventurous and would only advise it if you know what you are doing, no matter how much you want a lick of the Lollipop for your Galaxy Note Edge. source: XDA Forums
