OnePlus has a couple of new smartphones due to launch in 2015, and the company has already won plenty of plaudits for its OnePlus One flagship killer from last year. It is widely expected that the company will continue to deliver high end, slick looking, and affordable smartphones, but more than that 2015 is a year of growth for the Chinese brand. The first steps of that growth have been taken with the company confirming that it is opening an R&D department in Europe. OnePlus founder and CEO Carl Pei took to Google+ to reveal the news, saying that the company is now building an R&D center in Europe and that it will open through the second half of 2015. Pei even hinted that some ex-Sony (the Japanese company has laid off tens of thousands of employees over two year) will be welcome to join OnePlus at the new center. The research and development center will take OnePlus to the next level it is hoped and will be a part of the company's growth in the coming years.
