Samsung's Android 5.0 Lollipop program is now up and running it seems, and it is apparent that the company is rolling out in Russia. Earlier in the week the company started sending out Lollipop to its Galaxy Note 3 phablet from 2013, and now Samsung?s other 2013 flagship, the Galaxy S4, is also getting a lick of the Android Lollipop. The model number in question is GT-I9500, with this update coming through officially from Samsung right now. The 5.0.1 build is very heavy, coming with a 1049MB file. It's worth remembering that the Galaxy S4 was way back on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean when it launched, but it is still an extremely capable mid-range device. At the moment we are only hearing about this update via Samsung's KIES software in Russia, but we?ll keep ears to the ground in case Android 5.0 Lollipop shows up on the Galaxy S4 in other regions.
