HTC is almost certainly readying Android Lollipop 5.0 for its HTC One M8 flagship, the company said the update would come by the end of this month. The first move towards that is now happening as the Taiwanese company is updating its own Sense UI to a Lollipop ready version, with its international One M8 getting the patch now.Of course, Sense is HTC's own in-house Android skin UI and it is now getting a new firmware build to prepare it for the imminent release of Android 5.0 for the flagship. The file is pretty big, weighing in at 780MB and it should be hitting your device around about now, if it hasn't already. It is worth noting that this is confirmed for the non-US version of the One M8 so far, while it does not actually feature the Android 5.0 build, that will come later. It does get some new features though, such as a new look notification center and task switcher, with both folding into the general look of Material Design found on Lollipop.
