It has been well documented that Apple has sold phenomenal amounts of iPhones since the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus launched back in September. However, the extent of sales through the Holiday Season seem to be on another level entirely according to noted KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.Other analyst companies such as UBS claims that Cupertino sold 69 million iPhone during the fourth quarter, but Kuo is saying it will be more than that, he claims a total of 73 million. He says 42 million iPhone 6, 16 million iPhone 6 Plus, and the rest were made up from older devices like the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c. It will be a 43% year-on-year and will continue Apple's meteoric growth through the last half of 2014, a run that is likely to continue in 2015. We will find out some of the official details when the company issues its earning call today.
