Nokia may not be able to make its own smartphones just yet, but the company is still keeping involved on the hardware front it seems. According to a rumor from China, Meizu is interested in selling its handsets outside of Southeast Asia, but the Chinese company is worried its brand does not carry weight in other major market. That's a sad truth, because despite the fact Meizu makes fantastic devices, most consumers in Europe and the US have not heard of the company. Enter Nokia stage left, with reports in China suggesting that Meizu will re-brand its recent MX4 flagship under Nokia's banner. However, while the MX4 will look the same, Meizu is apparently willing to give Nokia freedom to choose its own specs, colors, and even software.
