Bloomberg has waded in on the rumor that HTC will ditch its UltraPixel technology for the upcoming One M9 smartphone flagship. It has been oft reported that the Taiwanese giant will get rid of the 4MP rear snapper from previous One models and will replace it for a 20.7MP lens from Sony that will come with HTC's own EYE Experience software. That makes sense as it is the photography direction the company has taken on other smartphones in recent months, and Bloomberg is suggesting as much, perhaps the most reputable source to run with this angle so far. The outlet cites sources within HTC's supply chain and says the handset will get a Snapdragon 810 processor and BoomSound speakers, as well as that new camera arrangement. The company could also ditch the two lens snapper that added depth detail on the One M8. source: Bloomberg
