Rumors of an HTC built smartwatch has been around for some time, and the company even admitted that it shelved its wearable until the market is more mature. Recently a HTC marketing employee told me that the company will roll out its first smartwatch alongside the One M9 flagship at MWC in March. There are now more reports today that the watch will arrive at the mobile event in Barcelona in six weeks' time.Bloomberg is citing its own source that claims HTC will roll out its smartwatch alongside the One M9 at MWC, with the company already confirming its presence at the event. The outlet goes further and offers some detail about the wearable, suggesting that it will be linked to Under Armour Inc., the companies recently signed an agreement to work together. That suggests HTC will be putting a decidedly fitness oriented slant on its product.
