Micromax, the largest smartphone company in India, ensured that the OnePlus One was banned in the nation because it has an exclusive deal with Cyanogen Inc. to run the company's CyanogenMod software. The first handset from Micromax to feature the CyanogenMod ROM is the Yu Yureka, a smartphone that has proved popular, selling out in just 3 seconds in India.Sure, there were only 10,000 units made available initially, but still it is an impressive start to life for the device. Micromax is second only to Samsung in the Indian market, a country that is seen as the next big frontier for mobile, following China. The Yureka costs just $145, but is solidly spec?d with a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615, 2GB of RAM, a 720p 5.5-inch display, a 13 megapixel rear camera, a 5 megapixel front facer, LTE connectivity, and 16GB of storage with micro SD support. The device will be available again on January 22 exclusively through Amazon India, but you?d better be quick if you want one.
