We have discussed Xiaomi's next flagship in-depth over recent weeks, with the Mi5 (or possibly Mi4s) showing up through numerous leaks, images, and benchmarks. It is pretty certain that the handset will be launched in January and that it will be an absolute beast. The device is reportedly set to launch on January 15th, and today a Chinese retailer has started listing the Mi5 and adding some of its specs.

As this is not an official listing, there is still some room for doubt. However, this is a known retailer called 3eere, so the listing if not the information is legitimate. The listing confirms that the Xiaomi Mi5 will have a 1440 x 2560 5.7-inch Quad HD screen with a blistering PPI of 515. It seems the Chinese company had decided against the new 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 and has decided to stay with this generation?s 805, which features four Krait 450 cores and is clocked at 2.7GHz. It will be paired with 3GB of RAM and will come with either 16GB or 64GB storage options.

Other specs include a micro SD card slot, a 16 megapixel rear camera, an 8 megapixel front facing shooter, and a sizeable 3,600 mAh battery. There are no signs of LTE bands suitable for North America, so it seems Xiaomi will continue to ignore the US, unless another Mi5 variant is in the works (unlikely).

There is still the possibility that this listing is the real deal, but Oppomart may not have the final exact specs. We will find out soon enough, but for the time being this list seems to match up with what we already know.
