Blackberry has decided to bring a bit of holiday cheer to celebrate the Boxing Day holiday in Canada, by offering a couple of deals to its customers in the United States and Canada. The company is knocking the price down on a couple of its flagship devices, giving potential customers the chance to get the Blackberry Passport and Z30 at a slashed price.

The black, red, and white versions of the Passport are available for $100 less, making the price of the device $599 for this promotion. Although, the red version is more expensive out of the gates anyway (for some reason) and that will now be $699. Needless to say, unless you desperately want a red smartphone you will be better off getting the white or black variants.

In the United States the touchscreen Z30 flagship is now 55% more affordable and the 5-inch device is now available for $225 for the black and white versions. North of the border in Canada that device has had a 50% price cut and will cost $250. In either case this is the bargain of the day as the Z30 is actually a very good device that is well worth this new limited price.

If you are buying one of the handsets from Blackberry's online store, you can even finance the purchase over six months with PayPal Credit. This sale will be running until December 30th, so if you have been waiting to get one of Blackberry's latest devices then now could be the perfect time.
