Meizu has been wowing us recently with its high end but affordable flagships such as the MX4 Pro and the upcoming MX5. However, the Chinese company also does mid-range pretty well too, just take a look at this new device, the K52. This handset is mega affordable and spec'd highly, built to compete against the powerful rise of Xiaomi in China and Asia. The Meizu K52 comes with a 4.6-inch Full HD 1080p display, a 64-but octa-core processor from MediaTek that is clocked at 1.7GHz and has been paired with 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of on board storage, other specs include a micro SD card slot, dual SIM capability, and we imagine some pretty solid cameras. That screen is probably going to look fantastic with such a high res and small footprint, while the overall specs put the K52 in the higher end of the mid-range market. That kind of device would cost north of $350 in Europe or in the United States, but in China the Meizu K52 will be available for $130, which is a bargain however you cut it. Of course, you can pretty much forget about this ever finding its way to Western markets and even if it did, it would probably have a price increase.
