LG has enjoyed a very good 2014 where the company's products seem to be hitting it off with consumers and the Korean giant has been very busy with new devices. However, this is a rather duller subject as LG today named a new President and CEO of LG Mobile Communication. The outgoing head of mobile Dr. Jong-seok Park will not become the company's Technology Advisor, a newly created roll especially made for him. LG Corp's (LG Electronics' holding company) President Juno Cho will now become the new CEO of Mobile Communication. Cho has been part of LG's strategy, sales, and marketing team in North America for 7 years prior to his new positions. Hardly earth shattering news, but we are interested to see how Mr. Cho approaches LG's mobile strategy in the coming months and years. He has certainly been handed a growing business, so has the perfect platform to start.
