Black Friday is still a week away, but some companies are kicking their deals into action a bit earlier, such as Sprint. The carrier has decided to slash the price of the HTC One M8 Harman/Kardon Edition by a huge amount, making this one of the best smartphone deals you will find over the Black Friday period.

Usually this device costs $229 on a two year contract with Sprint. It is a full on HTC One M8, which means you get the smooth metal clad unibody, a 5-inch 1080p HD screen, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. However, the Harmon/Kardon Edition as some goodies thrown in too, such as a pair of Harmon Kardon earbuds that usually retail for $149 and also free access to Spotify. With the One M8's already excellent BoomSound speakers in tow, this device is an audiophiles dream.

Sprint is making it ever more of an enticing option as the Now Network is now offering the device for free on that same two year deal. As I said, there are plenty of smartphone deals knocking around over the next week, but this one is up there as among the best. It is worth noting that this is for a new service agreement only, not for upgrading from an existing Sprint account.
