Vivo is reportedly working on a smartphone that is 3.8mm thick, which would make it the thinnest handset on the market. As well as breaking records, the company is also working on a new large screen phablet flagship device and judging by the rumoured specs it is going to be a rather beastly proposition.Going by the PD1305 model number at the moment, the new handset will have a massive 6-inch screen of the LCD 1440 x 2560 pixels Quad HD resolution variety. The will means a pixel per inch density of 490ppi, while according to the spec sheet the device will have a screen to body ratio of 79.95%, which means as far as 6-inch behemoths go this is going to be quite lightweight. The other specs reveal this to be a top line smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of on board storage, expansion through a microSD port, 13 MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, a solid 8 megapixel front facer that will appeal to the selfie crowd. All in all a pretty good package and I would think that Vivo will wrap it all in a metal body too. Whether you will see the handset outside of Asia is another matter.
