Sprint is rolling out a new update for the HTC One M8 (and the One E8 actually), but it is different to the one other carriers have issued this week. Verizon and T-Mobile have both rolled out a new update bringing HTC?s EYE Experience camera software to their One M8 variants, but Sprint has not prepared the EYE Experience just yet.Instead, the carrier is offering another extensive patch that brings a number of new features and software to the M8 and E8 software. The One E8 you may remember is an all-plastic alternative to the metal clad One M8, while it features a 13 megapixel camera instead of the 4MP UltraPixel lens found on the flagship. Here's the full list of goodies from the changelog: Google Security Patch GPS Enhancements International Wi-Fi Calling ItsOn Integration Accessibility Improvements Sprint Zone Updates (HTC One E8) The most interesting addition is International Wi-Fi calling and Sprint has broken down how that will work on its HTC One M8 and E8 devices via the source links. As for the EYE Experience, the new software should be landing very shortly and should come with Android 4.4.4, although Sprint has not yet confirmed a launch date. If you want to pull this latest bump without waiting for the OTA prompt, you can grab it b heading to Settings > About phone > Software updates on your handset. source: Sprint
