Virgin Mobile may not be up there with the big four of Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile, but it is trying to make itself a bit sexier to the budget minded. With consumers spoilt for choice across the flagship, the budget end of the market is the next war to be fought and won, and Virgin Mobile has today detailed some new plans.

The company has sent out a press release detailing some of its new unlimited plans, ranging from $20 to $55.

The first plan is a $20 deal with 300 minutes, unlimited texts and Wi-Fi access only.

Next is a $35 plan with unlimited or 300 minutes and unlimited texts. It also offers 250MB data for the unlimited deal of 2.5GB for the 300 minutes.

The third plan is a $45 plan that offers complete unlimited talk and text, unlimited data and 1GB high speed 3G/4G. This plan also comes with unlimited international texts and 100 international minutes.

The final plan costs $55 and matches the $45 plan aside for the fact it offers 3GB of high-speed 3G/4G data.

The carrier also launched the LG Tribute on its network, a decent looking budget smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 clocked at 1.2GHz, a 4.5-inch IPS display, a 5 megapixel LED flash rear lens, and Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
