There's plenty of heat surrounding the Galaxy Note 4 at the moment. Yesterday we saw reports that Samsung was running scared of Apple and would launch the device early in its Korean homeland, and then we found that the device had in fact sold out of its pre-order run in the country. My own Samsung source said that the company's roll-out timetable for the Note 4 is continuing as scheduled and that the giant had long planned for Apple's impact.Samsung has announced that it expects the Galaxly Note to land in a massive 140 countries around the world by October, an unprecedented roll out that tops the 114 nations getting the iPhone 6 before the end of the year. The company also confirmed that the phablet will indeed be arriving in Korea on September 26th, with the SK Telecom and KT networks offering the handset. We already know that the US will see the Galaxy Note 4 ship on October 17th, with the big four carriers (Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile) all opening pre-orders during this week. No specific mention of the Chinese market is made, but it seems Samsung and Apple are locked in a race to see which handset arrives there first, the Note 4 or iPhone 6/6 Plus. Cupertino is still seeking regulation to sell the iPhone there, so Samsung will probably manage to get the initial sales boost by releasing first. The Galaxy Note 4 is arguably the best smartphone at the moment, it has a 5.7-inch Quad HD screen, a Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.7GHz, an Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB RAM, and of course the S Pen stylus. It is also more affordable than previous Galaxy Note models according to Samsung, although on a basic money down deal in the US it still tallies to $299, so the company is obviously talking about unlocked. source: Samsung
