Serial tipster @Evleaks may be signing off, or as he puts it "retiring" but he is leaving us with this juicy leak, the Moto X+1 in a high quality press render. The smartphone flagship from Motorola is due to land at the company's launch event in Chicago on September 4th alongside the Moto G budget device and the Moto 360 smart watch. As you can see by the main image, the Moto X+1 is not a million miles away from the original Moto X in terms of aesthetics, but there are differences. Firstly, it is worth saying that this seems to be a nicer looking handset than the sometimes bland Moto X, although Moto Maker made any X as funky as you like of course. The Moto X+1 borrows some design cues from the Moto E, including the two metal like strips along each portrait bezel. Speaking of bezel, there is less of it on show, while the screen seems to be bigger than the 4.7-inch Moto X. We also get the impression that Verizon will be one of the carriers, but are not sure why, oh and that wooden Moto X+1 is one of those "I want that" devices. The handset is expected to roll out through the middle of next month. source: Evleaks
