We know that Sony is due to launch a new smartphone next month as the Japanese company has scheduled a September 3rd press event at the IFA trade show in Berlin, Germany. That handset is likely to be the Xperia Z3, the newest flagship from Sony and a replacement for the current Z2. Details around the device are picking up a little bit over recent weeks and today we have some fresh images of the Z3.As we expected, Sony has not messed with the Z design language too much, but owners of the previous handsets will see some differences. For example, the corners are noticeably more rounded off and the Z3 certainly lacks the angular design of previous models. Sadly, I think that takes some of the Z range's aesthetic appeal, but of course we will have to see the finished Xperia Z3 to form a secure opinion. What the curved corners will do is make the Xperia Z3 easier to hold, or at least we imagine. Previous Z handsets from Sony have sometimes been uncomfortable with their sharp edges, especially when the handset is in the pocket. Judging by the images, the landscape bezels have also been toned right down and the Z3 should be suitably all screen as a result. Take a browse through the images and let us know what you think of the Z3.
