The Samsung Galaxy Alpha (previously the F or Prime) is the smartphone that just keeps on giving as another leak has arrived today, this one a little more concrete. Just about everything there is to know about this device is already out there, so we will keep this brief. It appears that recent speculation that the screen would only be of the 720p variety had some truth as it has been confirmed today that is exactly what the display will be. A Samsung Developer Console (you can check it out after the break) reveals that the Galaxy Alpha will be rocking a 720p panel. A photo of the rumoured handset was also in tow revealing the metal and refined design we know the Alpha will sport. What is odd about this handset is that it will be Samsung's first metal body smartphone, one that will pack such specs as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 and 3GB of RAM if some reports are to be believed. However, the closer we get to launch it seems apparent that the Alpha will have at least some mid-range compromises and could be a middle of the road device period. We are really interested to see what Samsung does with this handset and how it will market the device.
