The device you are seeing in the picture is rumoured to be the new Motorola flagship, the Moto X+1, and no the company is not going for a radical new design. That means you will not be using a tape covered smartphone as the sticky stuff is merely in place to make sure our prying eyes cannot make out too much detail. Of course, that lends an air of credibility or makes the whole thing seem fake, depending on which side of that fence you are sitting. This certainly looks to be a handset we haven?t seen before, and it is definitely bigger than the current Moto X, which would tie into rumours that we know about the X+1. The current Motorola flagship has a 4.7-inch screen, but the X+1 is reported to come with a 5-inch or a 5.2-inch screen. Strictly looking at the profile of the device (tape aside), it certainly seems to look like the Moto X design language. We suspect that the Moto X+1 handset will carry mostly the same design of the Moto X, aside from the fact that it will be bigger. In that sense the X+1 will be a super phone version of the original X and not an entirely new device, but we are still excited to see what it will be. source: Business Insider
