LG's G3 Mini has been the subject of plenty of speculation of late. The launch of the G3 Beat in Asia (that device will go global soon) led to many thinking that it was the G3 Mini under a different name. However, later rumours suggested LG would make two smaller variants of its flagship device, and a leak today seems to confirm that.According to Evleaks, the Korean company is working on a smaller version of the G3 that will not be called the Mini or the Beat, but will instead arrive as the LG 3GS. That sort of tallies in with the early reports that LG would launch both a 5-inch and 4.5-inch version of its G3 flagship (that boasts a 5.5-inch QHD panel). We have already seen the 5-inch variant in the form of the G3 Beat, and it seems the G3S will be the 4.5-inch version. While the name does not say it, the G3S will be the G3 Mini for all intents and purposes. That means you can forget about the QHD display on the G3 proper, and probably just about every other high end spec too. That means another watered down mini flagship is on the way, but hey, at least you'll get the G3's slick looks. Now we have to wait and see when the LG G3S arrives, with the general consensus being that it will land late in the summer. We are not holding our breath that it will be the mid-range juggernaut we want, but we are sure it will fit the bill nicely for those wanting flagship aesthetics but lack the funds for the real deal. source: Evleaks
