Sprint and Verizon update HTC One to Android 4.4 KitKat

The HTC One M7 is updating on both Sprint and Verizon today, bringing the 2013 edition of the One its long-awaited Android 4.4 KitKat software. Both phones have updated to include several interface changes, wireless printing, full-screen mode in several apps, and the introduction of Sense 6. Here's a breakdown of what's new in each device


- New color palette and typography in the UI, as well as the ability to switch between different themes
- Camera UI has been simplified and has a new button to switch between modes
- Gallery has new Timeline, Album, and Location views
- Adding widgets and changing wallpapers now easier on home screen
- Wi-Fi connectivity more efficient, SSO client updated to 3.1.19, and Audible app updated to work with KitKat
- ISIS payments work properly, VCard sharing from People app fixed, and issues about being unable to power on phone have been fixed


- Add Content and Remove Content options are available
- Add Content landing page groups all categories on one screen
- Drop Down box enables quick content changes
- New design delivers continuous scrolling
- Supports social sites like Twitter and Foursquare restaurant recommendations
- Vivid color palette, strong content/scale, emotive typography and Applications
- Gallery Simplified with Timeline, Albums and Locations
- Video highlights available at the top of each section
- The Camera Application now offers: New button to access preloaded Camera choices, Create custom Camera Settings with updated Menu options
- Change Homescreen wallpaper without going through Settings:
