YouTube is working on an entirely separate app for mobile devices that will help content creators better manage their channel. The world's largest video sharing site revealed on its Creator blog that YouTubers will soon get a new app to help them manage their channels and communications with fans from a mobile device. It also plans to let video creators directly accept funds from viewers. Rather than have them solicit donations on Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Gofundme for projects or just for encouragement to create more content, YouTube will let members accept donations.
There's no timetable for when these changes will be implemented because this is part of Google's plan to inform partners of its upcoming plans. It shouldn't be too long based on the announcement and request for feedback on Google+ and YouTube
