Internet Week is when technology, business, and culture events intersect, and the most recognized intersection of those three fields is obviously in mobile. That's one of the reasons you'll want to visit the M1 Summit taking place May 20.

The Inaugural Mobile-First Summit happens May 20, 2014, from 8 am to 6 pm at the Grand Hyatt New York. The event is part of Internet Week NYC and focuses on various issues and opportunities related to the mobile industry. Summit sessions cover topics ranging from wearable devices to venture capital to mobile commerce to health and education. Everything from conceiving apps to getting funding and then promoting them to consumers is in the cards.

Top executives and speakers from American Express, Google, AT&T, Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, Visa, Kiip, Sequoia Capital, Coca Cola, Fortune, and many more will speak at the M1 Summit. A full list of the tentative schedule and registration information are available at the event's official website.
