Sprint today confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S III is receiving Android 4.4 KitKat today. The update is rolling out to devices now and can be accessed by going to Settings > More > System Update > Update Samsung Software. Sprint did not outline exactly what's new other than to say that this is the update that brings the phone up to Android 4.4, so users can download and look for typical KitKat features: slight boosts in performance speed and battery life, new cloud printing options, immersive screen mode, and a few behind-the-scenes changes with carrier apps and bugs.source: Sprint
