Sprint and Spotify today announced a partnership that will see the two companies encourage customers to sign-up for a Sprint Framily plan in order to get perks and discounts from the two companies. Beginning next month, existing and new Sprint customers who sign-up for a Framily plan will get 6 months of free Spotify Premium service. Once the six-month trial period ends, those who maintain their Sprint plans will have the option to upgrade to a discounted membership that costs only $7.99 per account rather than the standard $9.99. Those who have six or more Framily members can cut that discount to $4.99 per month.
Non-Framily plan customers can also sign-up for 3 months of free Spotify service, though they will not receive any discount on the monthly service price. Sprint also makes note that the Spotify plan will especially go good with the special HTC One M8 Harman/Kardon edition that has enhanced audio settings and accessories.
