The LG G3 will go on sale at some point in the next two months. LG confirmed that it plans to release its next flagship soon by stating in its quarterly earnings, "Higher earnings are expected in the second quarter with the release of the flagship LG G3 smartphone and wider roll-out of the mass-tier L Series III."
LG has been rumored to be developing a follow-up to the G2, the flagship that debuted in August 2013, that would launch sooner than the typical 12-month refresh schedule. Given that the Korean phone maker expects to have the G3 impact sales of the second quarter, which runs from April to June, it seems plausible that LG might debut the phone very soon. We're approaching the end of April and the G3 would need to be on shelves a minimum of two weeks to have a positive effect on LG's second quarter earnings.
Unless LG runs into big last-minute delays, the G3 should debut fairly soon. We've already seen alleged specs of the device and screenshots of the new UI leak, so perhaps this news is confirmation that LG is in the final stages of prepping for its next flagship launch.source: LG
