Samsung was widely expected to release two versions of the Samsung Galaxy S5 - one was the version that launched earlier this month and the second was an even better model that includes upgrades in a few areas. Obviously that phone never materialized, but the rumors just won't go away.
One key difference between the old whispers and the new is that Samsung has now dropped clue lending credence to the rumors. Documents from Samsung's Find My Mobile phone tracker list the SM-G906S as an option to find phones. A device with that same product number previously showed up in benchmarks with a 5.2-inch QHD display (2560x1440) and 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 805 processor, and this just may be it. The plan was to have the Prime be an even better GS5, which appears to be the case.
The Galaxy S5 Prime could launch as early as June according to previous rumors. The profile listing already points to this being the alleged device, and if true, it will also have a 16-megapixel camera, 32 GB of internal storage, and 3GB of RAM. "If" being the operative word.source: Sam Mobile
