Amazon makes music apps Shazam, TuneIn Radio Pro, and six others free

The Amazon Free App of the Day promotion typically provides one premium app for free to users, but the company is today offering eight apps related to music at no cost. The apps typically cost a combined $40 but can be had for $0 through the promotion. Those apps include:

TuneIn Radio Pro - a premium app that has live streams for 100,000 radio stations and 2 million podcasts

Shazam Encore - an app that listens to music playing in the background and then identifies it

jetAudio Music Player Plus - a music player with equalizer, Last.fm, tag editing, and more

iReal Pro - an app that stores chord charts and lets users follow along as they practice music

Ultimate Guitar Tabs - an app that has a searchable database of 300,000 guitar, bass, and drum tabs

Metronome Tempo - an app that helps follow the tempo

Guitar Riff pro - an app that teaches how to play riffs from various genres and famous artists

Treble Cat - a game that helps users identify music notes
