Google is clearly in the midst of another change across its suite of Android apps, injecting more color along the way. Someone from the official Google Nexus Twitter account may have prematurely revealed that the Dialer app is going to get a new tweak soon.
Responding to an inquiry from a confused Nexus owner, Google tweeted out a screenshot to explain how to solve the problem. The image shown differs from the current version of the Google phone app currently found on Nexus devices because it has blue rather than the standard gray. There's also no app icon in the top left corner. It's a very small change, but reflective of Google making efforts to change the appearance of Android once again. We've seen the company changing fonts and styles in the leaked calendar app, and that appears to be a system-wide change for Google rather than a one-off upgrade.source: Phandroid
