One would think reading an eBook would be straightforward and universal across devices, but Samsung and Amazon have partnered to create a unique experience strictly for Samsung's Galaxy phones and tablets. The Kindle for Samsung app is a unique version of the ereading app made for Galaxy products. It has the same navigation elements as the standard Amazon app, including two sliding lines of purchased books and recommended titles, but the look of the app differs. Instead of the standard black and gray space, it's lighter with a white background and has a flat border at the top. It also uses the same Whispersync, book buying, archives features as the standard app. This is the Amazon Kindle app, it's just viewed with a different coat of paint.

Samsung differentiates its experience by including Samsung Book Deals, which offers a free eBook each month. Four books are presented as options each month and users can choose one to read for free. Kindle for Samsung is available for download now via Samsung Apps on the Galaxy S5. It will be available on other Galaxy products soon.
