Samsung, fresh on the heels of releasing four new devices last week, is already back to work and teasing another smart device soon to launch. That device may be the new Galaxy Zoom. We've already seen the rumored Galaxy S5 Zoom specifications appear online, but those rumors first suggested that the phone and it's 20.2-megapixel camera would be called the Galaxy K Zoom. Now Samsung invites bloggers to "Kapture the Moment" at a special event in Singapore on April 29. Coincidence or clear sign of what's to come?
Considering that the K is highlighted in the invite and capture is a reference to photography, I'm going to guess this is more than coincidence. If Samsung does use its upcoming media day to promote the next Zoom camera, here are the specs that are likely to be confirmed on stage.
- 20.2-megapixel camera with 10X zoom
- 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera
- Xenon flash
- 1.7GHz A15 cores with quad-core 1.3 GHz A7 cores
- 2GB RAM and microSD slot
- 4.8-inch display with 720p resolution
