The beta version of Google's Chrome for Android has updated to offer a few new features that can be tested now before they head to the main app channel, including better support for viewing web video and casting it to devices. Chrome beta has improved the full-screen video options by adding HTML5 controls and subtitles. I can't remember the last time I came across subtitles on a web video but I'm sure people who see them will appreciate the option on the rare occasions that they present themselves. Chromecast users will also appreciate that some clips can now be sent to the television, though Google doesn?t specify which formats or codecs are supported.
Also new is the ability to undo closing a tab, a popular feature on the desktop. When someone closes a tab, a notification pops up and gives the user a chance to rethink the decision. Tapping the Undo button will then bring the tab back into view. The method is very similar to how Gmail for Android lets users undo deleting a message.Google
