Sonos has 30 different streaming music services available to play in its Hi-Fi speaker system, and Google Play Music today became one of those services. Sonos has announced that Play Music is now available to control your entire music library, personal and from Google's All Access 22-million strong library, from a smartphone.
There are actually two ways to listen to Play Music on Sonos. The traditional way available to Android and iOS users is to go to the "Add Music Services" page and select Google Play Music. You'll then be given a code to enter into a browser to link the account to the system and begin playback. The second option for Android users is to stream directly to Sonos through the Play Music app. A cast button will appear to start streaming from Google's app, so people who prefer the interface that they already know need not venture into the Sonos app. The drawback to using that option is that you can only play to one Sonos player through the Play Music app; the Sonos app is required for multi-room use.Sonos
