We don't know much about the LG G Watch other than the fact that it will be one of the first devices to run Google's wearable-friendly version of Android, Android Wear. We've seen some photos of the smartwatch, but for the first time, we've seen some details about when it will be available.

Pocket-Lint managed some hands-on time with a non-working prototype of the G Watch, and the photos reinforce early assumptions that the G Watch is a smartwatch with a big frame and a thick bezel. You can look at the comparison photo of the Watch next to a Samsung Gear 2 to get an idea of the size. Like other wearable devices released recently, the G Watch will have replaceable bands, which is good for anyone who doesn't want to use the standard rubber-looking straps.

LG revealed to Pocket-Lint that its Android Wear watch will launch "before July," so it's likely to happen before, at, or right after Google I/O, which takes place June 25. The G Watch is expected to cost GBP 180 ($US 300), according to Pocket-Lint's sources, but the price may differ by market.
