AT&T today launched or expanded coverage of its 4G LTE in nine markets today. Customers in the Reno, Nevada area have had 4G since December 2012, but they will be able to access LTE for the first time in surrounding areas of Truckee and Grass Valley, California. Expansion also took place in Sweetwater, Texas as surrounding areas of Merkel, Tye and Abilene have been brought into the 4G fold.
Today also marks the first time that 4G LTE is available in seven different markets, including:
- Yuma, Arizona
- Eureka, California
- Elkhart-Goshen, Indiana
- Traverse City, Michigan
- Ogdensburg-Massena, New York
- Plattshburg, New York
- Wenatchee, Washington
