Release details for the Samsung Galaxy S5 and its Gear wearable accessories have finally be clarified for their upcoming launch in the United States. Multiple carriers have revealed that the Galaxy S5 will cost $199.99 when purchased on a two-year agreement. The Gear 2 will retail for $299, the Gear 2 Neo for $199, and the Gear Fit for $199. Pre-orders for the Galaxy S5 and Gear accessories will begin tomorrow, March 21. The phone will cost $199.99 on a two-year agreement or $25 per month on AT&T Next. The off-contract price is $649. Anyone who purchases both a Galaxy S5 and a Gear 2 or Gear 2 Neo between March 21 and June 5 will get $50 off their total purchase price. The phone will ship in "early April."
US Cellular will sell the phone for $199 on a two-year agreement beginning with its pre-orders on March 21. Customers who purchase the S5 will get a $50 Google Play card good for purchasing apps, games, music, books, or video. The phone goes on sale April 11.
