Samsung has posted its own official hands-on video to detail the features of the Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 and Gear Fit, the two wearable devices unveiled a few weeks ago. The 9-minute video highlights the hardware changes introduced in the change from the Android-powered Galaxy Gear to the Tizen-focused Gear 2. However, what will really capture your attention is the walkthrough of some of the software features offered by the Gear 2. From controlling a TV with the IR blaster to connecting the device to a Samsung Galaxy smartphone, there are several options available.
The "Official hands-on" video also takes a closer look at the Gear Fit, the fitness-oriented smart band that has a curved AMOLED touch display. The first 5 minutes of the video are dedicated to the Gear 2, so if you're only interested in learning about the Gear Fit, fast forward to 5:43 mark in the video below.
