AT&T expands 4G LTE internationally into 13 new countries and releases new travel app

AT&T Mobility customers who venture outside of the United States will have some new options for data services following the carrier's announcement that it has expanded its 4G LTE coverage into 13 new countries. AT&T states that it has made it possible for customers to roam on 4G networks in:

- Spain
- France
- Japan
- South Korea
- Australia
- Hong Kong
- Switzerland
- Malaysia
- Singapore
- Guam
- Hong Kong
- Antigua
- Barbuda

Added to the previously announced agreements with carriers in the UK and Russia, AT&T customers can now roam in 15 nations. The carrier plans to reach 200 countries by the end of the year.

AT&T also released its International Travel App to let customers manage their roaming packages and costs, monitor data and messaging use, and customer service information. Customers can download the app in the App Store for iPhones or in Google Play for Android devices.
