Samsung has so far not been very vocal about which devices will receive the Android 4.4 KitKat. Though the company has already started the Galaxy Note 3 update process and we can guarantee that the Galaxy S 4 will be updated, that still leaves room to wonder about the remainder of Samsung's robust lineup. Phandroid.com has reportedly obtained a list of the devices set to be updated. Those devices include the:
- Samsung Galaxy Note II
- Samsung Galaxy Note 3
- Samsung Galaxy S III
- Samsung Galaxy S III Mini
- Samsung Galaxy S 4
- Samsung Galaxy S4 Active
- Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom
- Samsung Galaxy Mega
- Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0
- Samsung Galaxy Note 8
Unfortunately, there are no dates associated with the supposed lists, so it could be a while before any of these phones appear with KitKat in tow. Samsung has prioritized the Note 3 and Galaxy S 4 because those are the company's biggest sellers, but at least this rumor suggests that it won't abandon many of the phones released last year.source: Phandroid
