We've seen AT&T make a few noticeable rate adjustments and promotional price offers in recent months as a way to attract and retain more customers, and the carrier is now doing the same at Aio Wireless, a prepaid brand owned by AT&T. Aio has announced new prepaid rate plans that will increase data allowances, and a separate program that provides a small credit to customers who enroll in auto payments.

All new plans include unlimited voice, text, and data for a set rate. The difference in each plan is how much "high speed data" (HSPA+ or 4G LTE) it includes. Once a user reaches the high speed cap, the remaining data is 3G. The new rates are:

- $40 for 500 MB of faster data
- $50 for 2.5 GB faster data
- $60 for 5 GB of faster data

If a customer enrolls in Auto Pay can receive a $5 credit for agreeing to automatically pay their bill at the end of each cycle. The credit will drop the standard prices to $35, $45, or $55 with taxes and fees included.
